Destruction of Bethel Orphanage in Orissa, India

The following is a slideshow (click on picture to view) of the destruction of the orphanage run by the Bethel Association in Muniguda, Orissa, India on August 26, 2008. The rooms in both houses are burned except the office room and all the property has been destroyed. Some of the children are still missing. The mission was home to 150 children, many of them from families who have suffered persecution for their faith.

  3. Does the secular media ever report on any of these incidents? Are any of them in the loop as far as receiving this type of information from VOMC or other agencies that VOMC get their info from?

  4. Yes, we have received reports from the secular press in Europe and Asia. North America seems to be ignoring it

  6. Just a reminder to everyone. We will not post comments that include links to other websites. We do this to protect our readers, since blog comments have become one of the more common ways of spreading malware through clicking on a posted link. I have had to turn away a number of great comments for this reason this week.

  7. I worked last year two weeks with other foreign volunteers to paint de buildings and other things. The manager, teachers and the children were very happy and now everything is gone. I'm very disappointed.
