Glenn Penner: The Final Journey

Recently Cheryl Weber of 100 Huntley Street did an interview with me (which will air this Friday) regarding my seven year battle with cancer and how working with the persecuted church has impacted and been impacted by that.  I am amazed and humbled by the end result.  Cheryl has captured my heart exactly in this interview and the legacy that I hope to leave behind.    On behalf of my myself and my entire family, I want to thank Cheryl for this incredible gift.

Glenn
It was a wonderful video and expression of who you have been and always will be. I have 'seen' and 'heard' your voice for many years through VOMC, and I have marvelled at one so very strong in helping the persecuted church and standing for all that's right, with such a voice of compassion and one of reason in all our current events.
I could go on (and it's hard not to) about how blessed the world has been because Glenn Penner has been in it. The Lord knows.
Bless you, Glenn, for all your work and faith. Bless you and your family during this extremely difficult time. It is so hard not to shed tears over this. I just wanted to be able to tell you a big "thanks" - " thank you, for giving to the Lord" - many lives have been changed. You have had and continue to leave an amazing legacy indeed.
I will continue to pray for you and the family.

When Jesus said in Matthew 5:16, "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven," He was at least getting through to Glenn Penner. I thank God that in Glenn, we have a human who has succeeded in showing us how to live for Christ. I totally agree that just because our circumstances change, it does not mean God's love for us ever changes, and also understand how this is a very challenging statement. May God bless you, Glenn, in His mysterious and unexpected ways, and keep you strong and standing in the faith, after you have done everything (Ephesians 6:13), until He calls you home.
Your light will never go out!
I will also keep Denita and your children in my prayers.
