Iran increases crackdown on protestors and press

The Voice of the Martyrs is extremely concerned over the increasingly violent crackdown on protestors in Iran.  Associated Press is also saying that authorities are restricting journalists, including Iranians who work for foreign media from reporting on the streets, and said they could only work from their offices, conducting telephone interviews and monitoring official sources such as state television. The sending independent photos or video of street protests or rallies has been banned.

The following video shows just what the Iranian authorities don’t want the world to see.

This crackdown is illustrative of the kind of government that Iranians can expect from Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.  If you are a Twitter user, may we ask that today you send  prayers for the people and church in Iran to #iranprayers today and please retweet?  Thank you.
